Difference Between a Laptop and a Notebook Today

The computer technology nowadays invades our generation through introducing more advance and hi-tech gadgets and computer units such as the generations of laptops and notebooks. When we talk about these two kinds of computer, for ordinary people like us maybe we don’t determine what are they called laptop and what are the notebooks.
In some reasons that, those people who have those computer mostly they called their laptop units a notebook and some are called their notebooks a laptop computer. That’s why some people do not determine what is a laptop and what is a notebook. But for the individuals who have knowledge about the classification of a computer, its easy for them to determine a type of computer whether a laptop or a notebook.
For those who do not know what are differences of a laptop and a notebook computer, here are some classifications of the two computers in order to differentiate it. Laptop and Notebook are similar but there are some difference according to the set up and size of it. Laptop are larger than notebooks. A laptop can accommodate built-in disk drive unit while the notebook sometimes has no built-in disk drive but the notebook computer can allow to attach a disk drive via cable. About the processor of the laptop, it was run by (Pentium III processor-M, Pentium 4 Processor-M, Pentium-M Centrino). A notebook processor has (Pentium III Processor-M, Pentium-M Centrino).
A laptop has the standard features which you can determine a slight difference to a notebook. The screen of laptop has measured 14″ up to 17″ and it has graphic subsystem like Nvidia, GeForce, and ATI Radeon. It has also full large featured keyboard, about 3hours life battery, it has Internal DVD-ROM or a DVD-RW drive, and the system is upgradeable. About some features of a laptop, it has integrated modem, network, bluetooth, and Wi-fi capabilities. It has also high quality integrate audio and speaker system. And having a processor of Intel Centrino.
About the notebook, the standard features of it has focus on the weight of it because notebook is less weight or known as Ultralight. The battery life is longer that laptop computer because it has 4-5hours battery life. But notebook doesn’t have internal floppy drive and have a minimal graphics subsystem which a laptop is much advance. It doesn’t have also internal DVD or CD system and it has small possible keyboard that retains functionality. But the best in a notebook are suits for integrated modem, low power consumption, and it has a processor of Celeron, Centrino, or Sempron processor.
These are the features of the Laptop and notebook computers. Now, you can differentiate it what is better between the two computers. In buying those computers, it depends on the uses of it and what is the appropriate computer for you into your lifestyle and kind of your work. These computers have their own features that suits on what you want to have it. For me, they are the same when it comes to its uses.
