K. I. S. S- familiar? It stands for Keep it short and simple. Ads that are simple and short are those that draws more attention. The attention span of people looking at ads is just minimal. A lengthy ad can be so boring and unappealing. In same way, ads in the Internet should not be so lengthy. Usually they just click and browse, read two lines and snap! That fast… If the ad were catchy, it entices the reader to look for more. Take this snappy tips and  start catching more fish online.

1.The headline: the first thing that people would read is the headline.  A dull headline is skipped and set aside. The opposite goes with something catchy, it works like a powerful magnet making the reader so engrossed with it.
2.Use words that are simple but striking.  Words can either make or break. Freebies like “FREE CONSLTATION” or “TALK FOR FREE” are striking. Remember, people loves to pay less. Some words may be grammatically but unsuited to a two or for word ad.  The trick is, play with words but pay attention to its context.
3.The present time “TODAY” or “NOW” indicates that the promo is running at the very minute. This urges the reader to avail. Post dated ads are sometimes shelved and forgotten. With the use of the present time, the ad looks more realistic to the reader.
4.Using common phrases like “cheap”, “nice” or  “deal” is a gray colored ad. It is dull and not peculiar. Try using your other 14,000 words in your word bank. “Cheap” can be changed with “low cost or bargain” or simply the affordable. While “nice” can be settled with words like, “pleasing or fab.”
5.Avoid jargons. Technical terms tends to confuse the audience. Not all readers are of the same level. A simple lay man’s term would be great.
6.Make your ad stand out from the crowd. Competition is very stiff. An ad that is different from the rest gets more inquisitive eyes sticked on it.

There are certainly more tips to get more audience from ads. These are just few tips, the most part of it comes from the advertiser himself. Get your ad an identity and you’ll be surprised with what you can get.
