Job ads boom but still insufficient
Job advertisement in Australia has been increased up to 56 percent according to the report that NSW was labelled Australia’s economic basket case. The lowest statistics was July of last year, the job online ads showed NSW that they have been pull out and been stable since last year. Yet good news comes continuously as the led economists said another increase on interest rate by the Reserve Bank next month.
Sydney’s newspaper released last July take the 1940 ads a week but by December that had mounted to 3020 – a jump of 56 per cent in five months. From May jobs ads it was increased up to 38 per cent in Victoria and 37 percent in Western Australia. However in Northern Territory job advertising gets back faster and double it more than February and December to 520 a week.
”We’re leading the national recovery. ”We’re the only state to record consecutive increases over the past five months. Premier [Kristina] Keneally has made it clear her priority is jobs.” said the acting NSW Treasurer, John Hatzistergos.
