News Corp. Digital Executive Depart

The person who brought the business with online classifieds Australia and the U.K is a 37-year-old native of Australia, is an ex-McKinsey & Co. consultant and a former world champion debater Mr. Jeremy Philips has recently announced his departing.

It almost 6 years now since he started in News Corp and succeeded with his professions taking the credits for hunting the world for potential digital deals in Australian online classifieds. The company have gained a lot of benefits because of the diversity that initiated by Philips, with the positive results on its digital revenue beyond advertising sales.

“Jeremy is a very talented executive and I value his strategic contributions to our digital initiatives,” News Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch said in a statement.

During his tenure the News Corp has bought the Myspace and owns The Wall Street Journal in where Philips also occasionally written book reviews for The Journal’s opinion pages.
