Online job classifieds increased statistics in New Zealand

The Auckland with ads rising at a faster rate than applicants have been reported the continuously increasing of the online job site and job ads. Statistics suggest from New Zealand revealed the figures of the unemployment rate that has been reached 7.3 percent in the December quarter, up from 6.5 percent in the previous three months.

Last December with an of 17,000 a quarter over the previous nine months showed that almost 2000 people have become unemployed, while the labour force unexpectedly increases by 16,000 people. Seek general manager Annemarie Duff said that indeed the total rate of people who lost their job has released yet this may have a positive outcome than it looked.

“While the current unemployment rate seems alarming, this is based on October to December data, however today’s data shows there are significant increases in job numbers, it’ll just take some time for supply and demand to converge,” she said.

Last month of January there was a positive report that there’s been an increased across the country by 10.9 percent and this has been reported from the Seek’s own statistics and surveys. The Auckland with 15.9 percent growth in their job applicants whiles the Wellington and Christchurch with 1.1 percent to 0.4 percent growth respectively.
